Xiaomi starts rolling out a new MIUI 10 update for the Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphones. The update brings the firmware version MIUI 10.0.2.0.OEIMIFH and is about 152MB in size.
The new software update has been pushed via OTA (over-the-air). So, the Redmi Note 5 / Redmi Note 5 Pro users need to have stable Wi-Fi connection to download and install the firmware. Also, make sure to backup your device and charge it at least 70% to avoid unnecessary power-off between the update process.
The latest MIUI 10.0.2.0 is based on Android 8.1 Oreo OS and brings performance improvement and bug fixes. It restores opening camera rebooted the device and restore unimportant notifications appeared after a double tap.
