Earlier this month we talked about a security enhancement that Apple will implement in the future iOS 12 , causing the system to prevent the connection of accessories via USB if it is more than an hour without the device being unlocked by password.
On Wednesday (13), the apple confirmed that the implementation will actually be available from iOS 11.4.1 , currently in beta.

The function was already available in the first beta of iOS 11.4.1, as our reader Guilherme Lopasso Tosi warned us , but because it was a test version, it was not yet certain if it would continue until the final version. Today, a company spokesman has confirmed that it will be one of the version changes.
The feature makes any accessory that is plugged into the USB / Lightning output of the iPhone or iPad not be recognized if the user has stayed for more than 1 hour (one hour) without unlocking the device with a password. Not even for recharging the battery, so it demonstrates the beta until the time this article is being written.
This causes hacking devices that attempt to discover passwords through hundreds of attempts per minute do not work in case the device is found lost or else went on for more than 1 hour without being unlocked.
The news is great for us users, especially since many criminals used such tools to unlock weak passwords (read: ” The Importance of Choosing a Strong Password for Your iPhone “).
It is not yet known when iOS 11.4.1 will be released for all users, but it may happen in the coming weeks.
