Xiaomi in June 2018 is all set to launch its Upcoming Android One series with Mi A2 and it will be successor of Mi A1.
It is expected to launch in fourth week of June 2018 and will come with price tag of between Rs. 16000 to Rs. 20000.
Android One provides unmodified version of Android Operating System. Its Hardware & Software technical standard are created by Google itself to provide consistent user experience & improve security through regular updates. As, Android one phones receives regular security & performance updates.
OS, Chipset & Display:
Mi A2 will run on Android Oreo v8.1 out of the box. It will be 6-inch IPS LCD Capacitive touchscreen, pixel resolution of 2160 * 1080 and aspect ratio 18:9. it has gorilla glass protection as a protection for Display.
It will be powered by 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Octacore processor.
Camera & Memory:
Device comes in different variants for RAM users will have the option to choose from 4 GB or 6 GB and ROM of 32 GB, 64 GB & 128 GB as external SDcard slot is missing. Be cautious, while choose the ROM variants i.e. ROM can’t be expanded via. microSD card.
It has dual Front facing camera of 20 MP & 12 MP with Auto focus LED Flash and Rear camera is of 20 MP which supports HD video recording.
SIM Slot & Connectivity:
Dual Micro Sim slot and it is expected that both the sim will support 4G connectivity. WiFi, Bluetooth, Infrared, GPS & Radio. While, Headphone support is missing. To overcome distortion in noise it has active noise cancellation to provide hassle free communication.
Battery & Ergonomics:
Battery is of 3010 mAh and weights 168g. As of its successor, Mi A2 has metal body and will be available in 5 color variants which include Cherry pink, Black, Glacier Blue, Flame Red & Sand Gold.
